What is CliftonStrengths™ or the Gallup Test?

The Gallup test, also known as the CliftonStrengths™ Finder, is a tool created by psychologist Donald O. Clifton. It is a questionnaire designed to identify your five primary talents out of 34 possible ones. In total, over 400 talents have been identified, grouped into categories to facilitate management, resulting in 34 talent sets and 4 domains. This test not only reveals your strengths (talents) but also helps you understand how to use them for personal and professional growth.

The CliftonStrengths™ test consists of 177 questions. You need to select a statement that best matches your way of acting or thinking. Completing the test takes about 40 minutes, and you have 20 seconds to choose each statement. The short time for responses encourages you to instinctively and honestly select your answer. Based on your responses, the tool identifies your top 5 or 34 talents, which describe your characteristics with the greatest natural inclination and ability.

The Gallup tool is not an ordinary personality test; it serves as guidance on your journey toward fulfillment and abundance. Discovering your natural talents and learning how to use them can be a significant revelation in your life.

“The key to fulfillment is not only discovering your talents but also activating them. Your talents are like stars in the night sky, illuminating your path and guiding you to your true destiny and the calling of your Soul.”

What is talent?

Talent is the natural way you think, feel, and behave; it’s how you process information, communicate with others, and perceive yourself and the world (Clifton, 2003).

Talent is doing with ease what is difficult for others.
